Peter Okoye, the other half of the famous P-Square and recently engaged father of two does not joke with his kids, Cameron and Fiona as he makes sure he spends quality time with them anytime he is at home due to his very busy schedule. Just as he and his twin brother, Paul, are planning to embark on a United States and Canada tour, the dotting father took out time to play the riding game with his two children. This is really a moving sight for some of us who could not afford these expensive toys as toddlers

HOW do you feel that your latest single, Alingo, has been banned?

I heard of the ban, but, honestly, reasons for the ban were not specified. But what we have noticed and they haven’t is that when you ban a song you only make it popular. Banning a song on Nigerian channels doesn’t mean much because the major international channels still play the videos.

What really was the reason behind the video?

For a few years now P-square haven’t made a dance video and our fans have been anticipating, so we just decided to give them that. Alingo was a freestyle that we did even before the Invasion album; we never took it serious until it leaked, and we got good responses. Thus, we decided to shoot a video for it.

Ghanaian act, Samini, takes a direct swipe at P-Square for what he sees as a blatant replication of the popular “Azonto” dance but giving it a new name “Alingo”. The Ghanaian calls P Square out for jacking their dance style “Azonto” and improvising on it to make Alingo. For an artiste his size (See “Time Bomb” featuring Wizkid), is this an attention-seeking move? Or does Samini have a point?.
