PANTS: palazzo pants

THE saying that what goes around comes around rings true in the world of fashion, where every trend makes a complete revolution with some modifications. And so, this season, the fashion world is revisiting the old staple: The Palazzo pants. Looking revamped with constructed waistbands and bold eye-popping prints it has made a come-back on the fashion stage.
Though palazzo is similar to the wide-leg trousers, the structures are not the same except for the leg area that are both flared.  Palazzo pants are comfortable, versatile and chic, delivering your fashion confidence.
This trouser is cut with loose, extremely wide leg that flares out from the waist down which gives the illusion that you are wearing a maxi skirt. These beautiful trousers were a popular trend in the 1960s and 1970s.
However these pair of trousers is not synonymous with the bell-bottoms, it doesn’t snug at the upper area to flare out from the knee like the latter.  Palazzo pants flare out from the waist area giving your figure a bottom-heavy look.
With the wide legs, palazzo gives the legs a break from all tight-fitting denims, allowing your legs a breath of fresh air while also giving you an indescribable statement on the fashion scene.
If you love to rock in the trendy new look of palazzo pants, kindly follow these guidelines, in order to avoid committing some serious fashion blunders.  . Go light on the top since the pant is bottom heavy . Pick a tank top, blouse, corset top that stays snug to your body so that your pants can bloom wide down below. This way, you get to maintain a nice long and shapely silhouette. . Choose your colours carefully; make sure you pick the ones that best suit your skin type. . High heels are good options to match your pants for a perfect fit for that formal party setting. Wedges are nice footwear to combine for weekend outings with the palazzo pants, too. . Try to keep your accessories to the minimum in order to avoid clumsiness.
So what do you do when you are tired of wearing the usual leg-hugging pants, jeans or leggings and not keen to put on a full-blown skirt? You give palazzo pants a try!
