(GIST): Rapper Completes High School Behind Bars

Lil Boosie
The “Independent” rapper is shown above dressed in his graduation gown, grinning with his family members and the framed credential. The five-part test consists of reading, social studies, writing, science and mathematics.
The 30-year-old Louisiana born rapper has a fairly full archive of past charges, most notably he dodging a possible death penalty in May of last year for a first degree murder charge he beat. Boosie’s decision to become a rapper stems from his drug related expulsion from high school. He has served over three years of his eight-year sentence and released the album Incarcerated from prison in 2010.
