A victim of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) has opened up on the tragic ordeal she endured which also led to the eventual death of her older sister.
The 25-year-old Gambian, who now lives in Scotland, explained vividly how her first sexual encounter landed her in a hospital.
She also explains how her vagina was sewn up and how the procedure destroyed her menstrual cycle and chances for a normal sex life.
