Lamar Odom, 34, recently revealed that Khloe Kardashian, 29, will “always” be his wife, and that he hopes that the two of them can work things out. Lamar recently signed a new playing contract with a basketball team in Spain, which will take him far away from his love, but he remains optimistic about their chances together.
Lamar Odom Will Always Love Ex-Wife Khloe Kardashian
Lamar seems like he’s still trying to keep the marital play alive, and still hopes that things will work out between himself and Khloe!
US Weekly reports that after a press conference on Feb. 21 for his new Spanish team, Lamar told reporters that he will never stop loving Khloe.
“I love my wife,” Lamar said. “She’ll always be my wife, no matter what.”
Woah! Lamar went on to say in the interview that marrying Khloe was one of the best things that could have happened in his life.
“Those were some of the best years of my life,” he continued. “Being married, and being married to a woman I decided to marry was — besides having children — the most important thing in my life.”
Lamar Odom Still Calls Khloe Kardashian His Wife
Lamar has struggled with infidelity and drug abuse, which ultimately led to his split with Khloe. Lamar’s estranged ex officially filed for divorce in December of 2013, but it looks like Lamar is hopeful that things will take a turn for the better.
“Who knows? We don’t know exactly if [the divorce is going through],” Lamar said. “Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife.”
