Robin Thicke says VMA performance with Miley Cyrus wasn’t sexual

Pop singer Robin Thicke has come out to talk about his infamous duet with Miley Cyrus at the VMAs.

‘I thought it was silly and funny. She was being humorous and naughty. But it wasn’t sexually charged at all,’ he said. “That’s who she is and that’s how she likes to dance. And she was just being herself and I was just being myself’ said the singer. 

Robin Thicke also said the performance was planned to raise eyebrows. ‘We knew what we were getting ourselves into. We’re entertainers, and the VMAs is the perfect place for a little shock and awe’ he said.
