Saka honoured as he turns 50



Hafeez Oyetoro popularly known as Saka was recently honoured when he turned 50.

The small event which was held at the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education Ijanikin, Lagos, where the actor lectures in the Theatre Arts Departmment was attended by students of the institution, lecturers and some traditional rulers of the community where the school is located.

Thanks to his Saka character which originated from his role in the comedy series, ‘House Apart’, Oyetoro has become the darling of advertising agencies, with his biggest move being his number portability advert for telecoms giant MTN.

‘Mr Oyetoro is one of the kindest lecturers in our school, in fact we are so happy for the recent the good things that have been happening to him’, Bunmi Akinjobi, a student of the institution told NET.

Oyetoro was born on August 19, 1963 in Adegbola, Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo state. He studiedDramatic Arts as his first degree at the University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University and got his Masters degree from the University of Ibadan.

Besides lecturing at the institution, the MTN ambassador is also currently pursuing a PHD at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Oyetoro is happily married with three children.
