Ex-Niger Delta militant, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, recently reacted to comments by members of the House, Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State and northern leaders, saying he should be arrested for treason.
According to reports, Dokubo called Northern leaders destitute, parasites and marauders and said he would destabilise Nigeria if he is ever arrested for his comments asserting that there would be mayhem in the country if President Goodluck Jonathan is not allowed to continue in office in 2015.
“The last time Obasanjo arrested me, my arrest reduced Nigeria oil production to 700,000 barrels per day. This time, it will reduce it to zero barrel, and we will match violence with violence, intrigues with intrigues. We are ready for them. Goodluck Jonathan will complete his tenure of two terms, whether they like it or not,” he said.
In this video, Dokubo takes it a step further threatening violence and bloodshed:
“ We will match bullet by bullet. We will match blood by blood. To us, they don’t even exist because we pay them. He who pays the piper dictates the tune.”
