The remains of Chief Oluwole Awolowo will be committed to mother earth on Friday, April 19, 2013. Meanwhile, The General Overseer of R.C.C.G, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has visited the family. He paid a condolence visit to the matriarch of the Awolowo dynasty, Chief (Mrs) HID Awolowo, over the death of Chief Oluwole Awolowo. In his words,
“we should give thanks in all things. We all have our appointed times. If the appointed day comes, no one can query God. We cannot understand why it happened. We are sad, but we give glory to God. We beseech you Lord that this family shall not witness any form of sorrow again,” he prayed.
He urged Mama to take solace in the fact that God knew best and also prayed that good news would never ceased in the Awolowo’s home.
