OSUN STATE GOVERNMENT GIVE FREE TABS TO STUDENTS

Osun State has finally defended her gesture of making available free computer tabs to her senior secondary school students.

Last year the Commissioner for Communication and Strategies of Osun State, Sunday Akere announced that the state would launch free computer tabs for her senior secondary school students  in the objective to revamp the state's education sector and enhance e-learning.

Well, the government of Osun State have stayed true to her promise: the launch kicked off at Ataoja School of Science in Osogbo (the state capital) and about 387 students in SS 2 were given the mobile device.

The government of the state stated that the device -which contains WAEC and NECO syllabi- would be allotted to SS1 to SS3 students of all public secondary school in the state. The computer tabs will also contain apps like e-book library, past questions, additional subjects, integrated test zone and 17 virtual classroom.

Do you think this is a good measure through which educational development could be established?
