Remember 20-year-old Longji Felix Vwamhi who had sued Bishop Oyedepo’s Covenant University for expelling him from school after he was caught with porn on his laptop?
The 400 level student of Information and Communication Technology Department, Longji, after he was expelled on the 27th of November 2012, had filed a suit against the University with his mum as a co-plaintiff in the suit.
Well, that lawsuit has been struck out by Justice Mobolaji Ojo of an Ogun High Court sitting in Ota, Ogun state. Reason for that was lack of merit.
The Justice said Longji had indeed violated the university regulations, and even admitted to owning the laptop. Rather, he stated that the school authority should reconsider the passionate appeal made by the student’s father to tamper justice with mercy and recall the student.
After suing the school, I doubt if they would accept appeal or what do you think?
