Fashion is in the air and Lagos is getting ready to showcase the best of the home-grown collections to the world under the auspices of MTN Lagos Fashion and Design Week. Already in its second year, this year’s edition promises to be even grander with more collections, exhibitions and musical performances from the hottest names in the entertainment world.
MTN Lagos Fashion and Design Week gives upcoming designers and creative people ‘a once in a lifetime opportunity’ to showcase their creations and also win fabulous gifts at the same time.
If last year’s event is anything to go by, then you can be sure that the movers and shakers in the industry will not miss this year’s event- not even for all the clothes in Paris. (smiles)
And before you think I am speaking Greek because you missed the 2011 event, don’t worry, I will give you a quick flashback to last year’s MTN Fashion and design Week. The event, expectedly, was star studded, the biggest names in clothes making, movie stars, music icons and beauty lovers were all in attendance, and you can trust the paparazzi made the event too.
Beautiful and unbelievable pieces were showcased and attendees really had a good time ‘feasting’ their eyes on the showcased designs.
And mehn, people wore amazing pieces that you only get to see on E. Believe me, I am not kidding.
