It was a fun whirlwind trip for Arsenel stars Bacari Sagna, Per Merteserker and Lukas Podoski. BN spotted the trio at events hosted by their partners Airtel and Malta Guinness in Lagos, Nigeria.
According to Nick Ames of Arsenal.com, “(The trio)…received an exhilarating crash course in exactly how much Arsenal means to millions of people in Nigeria”
On behalf of Airtel, the Arsenal stars presented to the Nigerian public the five most outstanding youngsters discovered at the just concluded National Finals of the on-going Airtel Rising Stars Season 2 U-17 tournament for boys and girls. The five youngsters are Gift Nevo (Best Goal keeper in the female category), Rafiat Aweda (Golden Boot winner and Most valuable Player, Female category), Ibrahim Benjamin (Best Goal Keeper, Male category), Yakubu Gambo, (Most Valuable Player, Male category) and Bilyaminu Sani (Golden Boot winner, Male Category).
For Malta Guinness Low Sugar, they rocked out on stage with Nigerian dancer Kaffy on stage.
